Our chapter has been very busy planning, recruiting, and having some fun. Our new t-shirts are "flying off the shelves." I have started to use a new tool this year. It is actually provided by the university for use by teachers and organizations to communicate with students about classwork, etc. It's called TRACS. I use it for EVERYTHING. It has a blog, a chat room, a calendar, announcements, resources (I post agendas and documents here). So far it's working great. Our first meeting is Sept 5th.
I, too wondered how everyone else is getting all of the new members to sign up online. I wanted to take their $$ and use a credit card, but that seems like it could get tricky. Has anyone come up with something that works well?
